The Direct Repair Process
How does the direct repair process work?
The following is a general explanation.
Contact your insurance agent or company representative and report your loss. Your insurance agent will direct you as to how to proceed. In most instances, you will need an estimate of the cost of repair. Most major insurance companies have a "direct repair" program in place for automobile claim losses. A direct repair program is a streamlined claims process. Many top insurance companies have added this customer service enhancement in order to save you time and get your vehicle repaired more efficiently. We can write your estimate, schedule your repair, and make your replacement transportation plans, all on the first stop. The insurance company adds a guarantee to your repair for as long as you own your car. This added layer of protection is in addition to our guarantee. After your initial visit, we work out the details of your repair with your insurance company. All you do is bring your vehicle in on the scheduled day (or we can pick it up), pick up your replacement vehicle, and leave the rest to us. Direct repair programs requires repairer certifications, testing, and ongoing training. Marklein Auto Body Inc. participates in all direct repair programs available in our area.
If you have replacement vehicle
coverage, we highly recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car. We can assist you in
making your own reservation. Enterprise will meet you at Marklein Auto
Body when you
drop off your vehicle.
If you do not have replacement
vehicle coverage, or partial coverage, ask Marklein Auto Body, Inc. about
one of their "no cost to you" replacement vehicles.
